Game mode Description

Plant vs Defuse is a 5v5 round-based game mode where Attackers work together to plant a bomb at one of the two bomb sites while Defenders fight to stop the bomb from being planted, or to defuse it before it detonates.

Rounds

At the beginning of the match your team is assigned to the Attacking or Defending side at random. Teams will switch sides at the start of each round so if you were Attacking in the first round, you will be defending in the second. Rounds last 5 minutes, with no respawns.

Attacker objectives

As an Attacking team member your goal is to plant the bomb. To do this you must capture one of the two bomb sites and hold it for 20 seconds at which point the bomb will be planted. Once the bomb is planted at one of the sites, the other site is disabled, and the Attacking team has 2 minutes to defend the bomb from being defused — until it explodes 💣

Defender objectives

The Defenders' goal is to prevent the bomb from being planted. Damaging an attacker while they are planting the bomb (capturing the bomb site), will interrupt any planting/ capturing progress on that base. If the bomb is planted, defuse it by recapturing the bomb site. It takes 25 seconds to defuse the bomb, so act strategically!
