Progression and Social Changes

Introduction

The team has created a new progression system that will be available for you all to check out on the six Agents we're highlighting leading up to the playtest. We created a whole new system as we felt the old system was a bit too linear and didn't provide any opportunity for customization. We believe this new system not only provides more depth, but gives you more control over how you play.

How it worked

The previous system was a line system. You leveled up, unlocked, and installed modules from left to right. Not only did it offer no customization, it just felt a bit bland.

How it works

The new progression system offers more in-depth customization with 10 slots to help make your Agent better fit your play style. As you level up you will gradually unlock these categorical slots, each containing multiple modules to choose from. Each module will have varying stat adjustments attached to them. For example, one module may provide you +30 Energy Points while the other module provides +10 Energy Points and +20% Energy regeneration.

Every Agent has a list of pre-defined modules available to them that you can select from. Most of the modules have a unique graphic model that will update visual components on the tank. You will also see some modules have perks associated with them alongside their stat adjustments. Since the last playtest we have added some brand-new modules and removed some existing ones. Get ready for all new customization with your loadouts!

Now presenting: Platoons

We know how important it can be to group up with friends to play online, so we've added in Platoons. You will now have the ability to play with friends in a group of up to three people. In order to invite someone to your Platoon, you will need to know their in-game name, click the + box in the top right corner, search their name, and send an invitation.
