We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and we're delighted to have you here with us for our Closed Alpha test. We wanted to take a quick moment to provide you all with an Update Recap to share some of the changes occurring between the last playtest and this one.
First Login
We've implemented an all-new Newcomer scenario, including an Onboarding Tactical Operation, a reskinned interface, and special rules for the matchmaker. It's a brief introduction/tutorial to explain how to play Project CW. This is a first iteration of the Onboarding Tactical Operation, and we'd love to hear your feedback on it.
It's important to note that upon your first login you will be provided the option to choose your preferred control scheme - Legacy or Shooter. Please note, that Legacy Keys are selected as default, so if you prefer to play with Shooter style keybindings make sure you switch before proceeding.
Visual updates
After completing your first login, our returning players might notice some updated artwork for the base camp - including enhanced lighting, new icons, updated base camp main screen, Mode Selection interface, HUD/UI elements, etc.
You may also be excited to learn we have implemented our first iteration of 2D Customization, featuring new camouflages and paints accessible through the EDIT LOADOUT/VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION screen. Make sure to check them out and let us know what you think!
We've made some relatively big HUD changes with reskinning the Base indicators, Game Mode, Game Score, and Buffs panel. We have also restyled Daily Quests as well as the shooting crosshair - we even added a static aiming mode! There has been some polish added to the UX with numerous improvements. We have improved the VFX for the smoke ability, improved shaders to draw restricted zones, and added particles to the thermal imager.
Character's animations have been updated as well! We've added new animations for Punch and Kent, modified Raketa, added and fixed all animations for Punch, Kent, Jager, Raketa, and >REDACTED<, and we've even made some changes to Titan himself.
Sound updates
- Additional sound added to support the critical damage effect
- Sound added for Guided Bombs Ability
- New Voice-Over lines added for Agents: Titan, Raketa, Punch, Jäger, and Blitz
Battle Details
New game mode: Domination
- 6v6
- At the start of the battle, one base will be selected to conquer
- Capture/Uncapture time for the selected base is five seconds
- Captured base gives controlling team 10 points per 1.1 seconds; first team to 2,000 points wins
- Respawn timer is set to 20 seconds
- The team that does not control the point receives a buff to decrease respawn time (-12 seconds)
Agents balance changes
- Made Defenders slower, with decreased turret traverse
- Critical damage tune for Engine and Fuel Tank
- Tweak progression and balance for Udarnik
- Tweak progression and balance for Titan
- Fix Gatling damage upgrade for Chopper
- Decreased sprint power for all vehicles
- Many more tweaks

We've also had a host of general bugs that have been fixed. There's been some GPU/CPU Optimizations as well, including Integration of AMD FSR 2.21.
