Strengths
Albeit not the deadliest autoloader due to its lack of damage in a magazine, it can still deal with most vehicles in the game within one magazine if aimed optimally.
A versatile HE mounted grenade launcher that provides a lot of utility that can immobilise targets and destroy shields from a decent range.
The HSTVL has good all-round gun depression and in combination with its low profile makes it exceptional at fighting over ridge lines.
Equipt with smoke grenades that are capable of creating approximately a 100m screen for twenty seconds, it can disappear in an instance. It also has access to thermals allowing it to play around its own or other's smokes which is a rare advantage in CW.
One of the most mobile vehicles in the game all-round racing car.
Weaknesses
Lowest hit-points in the game.
Albeit not the easiest module to hit frontally, but it's a possibility, this can basically lead to it getting one shot.
The lower glacis is a great area to shoot due to the mostly frontal fuel tanks, great for easy fires.
The HSTVL has alright range but past 150m the damage falloff is drastic.
Armour is nonexistent.

Tank Summary
The HSTV-L is an inbetween of a flanker and a low range marksman, It's the mosquito tank of project cw. Its low profile and good gun depression allows it to effectively play low to medium distances whilst remaining a difficult target to hit, it has access to smokes and thermals to obscure itself which make dealing with this vehicle a nuisance.
The optimal way to play the HSTV-L is at somewhat of a range chipping down its opponents and waiting for the perfect time to strike with an all in play. Capable of dealing with a variety of vehicles if they are isolated due to the utility and versatility of its grenade launcher.
Whilst the HSTV-L might not be the best assassin vehicle due to its lack of hit-points and survivability amongst all the flankers it can sure be the most annoying due to its high speed and smoke grenades making it difficult to lockdown, no vehicle particularly hard counters this tank. Controlled by a good player it can be brutal and very versatile in a lot of situations.
